Pakistani beef Recipes

Origin

Qeema Matar, is said to have originated in Persia but hugely popular in the Indian subcontinent too. Qeema, which means minced meat (beef or lamb), cooked in onion, ginger, garlic and tomato based gravy with flavorful Indian spices, with an addition of green peas makes this dish just irresistible. Other minced meats such as mutton and chicken can also be used to prepare this scrumptious dish.

The key to this recipe is slow cooking the meat on stove-top to enhance the taste. Pressure cooker can also be used to speed up the process. You can serve this scrumptious dish with an Indian flatbread or with some rice.
